Spending the evening with Lindsey and Jon was a total dream! Their engagement session at the Indian Springs Metropark in Clarkston, MI was everything I love about fall; cool weather, gorgeous colors, and a dreamy sunset with a ton of golden light! . . . The only thing we had to worry about were rattlesnakes! Ahh! . . .
Read MoreIt has been such a crazy busy August and September for me because I have been photographing engagement sessions and weddings almost non-stop every weekend this fall! (Even though the weather for the most part has still felt like summer with temperatures in the mid-70's!!) I road tripped out to St. Joseph, MI for Jessica and Sheamus' destination engagement session on the beach and HOLY MOLY, friends, are you in for a treat!! These two were so awesome in front of the camera, and we had one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen as our backdrop! . . .

Chicago is one of those cities that is so very near and dear to my heart. Having the opportunity to travel to the beautiful Windy City AND photograph an amazing couple at the same time!? I was in heaven! When we were finally able to discuss possible dates to hold the engagement, I amazingly had one weekend free in June in between all my other weddings so Molly and Chris invited me out! . . .

For Kristen and Matt's engagement session, they decided on Crosswinds Marsh in New Boston because it seemed to Kristen a little bit like Florida with the tall marsh-like grass and water and for Matt, he loved that the marsh was outdoors in the crisp cool air of fall!
