Rustic Engagement in Grand Rapids, MI: Melissa + Tyler

The day started out looking like it might rain, but then the light became soft and beautiful near sunset for Melissa and Tyler's lifestyle engagement session outside Grand Rapids at the Gracewil Country Club and then in the backyard rose garden of Tyler's grandmother. There was a special connection with the Country Club, not only had it been used by family for years for an occasional round of golf, but it is also where Melissa and Tyler will exchange their wedding vows on July 13th!

Melissa and Tyler have a lot of love for each other and although Tyler was a bit camera shy, they had a bunch of funny, real moments where I was able to capture Tyler's natural smile! I also thought Melissa's engagement ring was gorgeous and took the opportunity to place it in a few natural elements.
