Abby and Felipe first met while working at Fermi Nuclear Power plant back in 2017 (or as Felipe put it, "she couldn't keep her eyes off of me!"), and when they suggested we hold their engagement session in Historic Monroe, MI, I was completely game!

I actually lived in the Monroe area for the past several years, and loved having an opportunity to photograph Abby & Felipe downtown and in the place where they basically met and fell in love. We lucked out with the weather (no rain, which was what the forecast called for), and the evening light was absolutely stunning. These two were the best as we walked around the city in the high humidity and they were such a joy to work with!

When Kim told me that Mark proposed to her while they were playing a round of putt-putt golf, I knew we would be fast friends! Mini golf is something my husband, Scott, and I also really enjoy and I love when my CCP Couples share the same interests as us! Kim also told me that at the end of their first date, Mark dipped her back and kissed her goodnight (a first for her)! Talk about romantic!! . . .

There is something energetic about living downtown in a big city. There is a pace that makes you want to wake up in the morning and just get moving towards your dreams and goals. Living in downtown Detroit has proven to be a fun and exciting time for Jenny and Pat. They really enjoy working and exploring the motor city together.
