Classic Fall Engagement Session in Brighton, MI | Chelsey + Joe
Chelsey & Joe’s Fall Engagement Session at
Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton, MI
Chelsey and Joe first met back in middle school and became close friends during high school when Joe would frequently visit his best friend, and Chelsey’s neighbor. They’d all have dinner at her parent’s home from time to time. Even though Joe said it was her Dad’s beer cheese soup that really reeled him in, these two couldn’t deny their connection and started dating!
Chelsey and Joe spend their time, now, traveling together, exploring new restaurants and re-visiting old favorites in-between work and nights at home with their dog, Phoebe. Joe is also really into golfing and Chelsey is a big time Friends fan (as am I so I knew we’d get along just fine and she’d appreciate my Friends references!).
Joe proposed to a very surprised Chelsey on her birthday (after telling him not to propose on her birthday lol) in downtown Detroit at Campus Martius where they were surrounded by friends. They continued the celebration at a local bar where their families were waiting as a secondary surprise. I loved photographing Chelsey and Joe’s engagement session this past fall at Huron Meadows Metropark! We got so lucky with all the beautiful and vibrant colors while we walked along different trails and down by the lake. The fall colors seemed to come and go so quickly this year so I was excited to spend the evening capturing Chelsey & Joe in such a gorgeous environment!
Chelsey and Joe, I can’t wait to photograph your winter wedding coming up in just a couple weeks! I know it will be the perfect wedding, with such an amazing couple, to kick of my 2020 wedding season!
Love,
Courtney
