Jennifer and Justin’s wedding day was the perfect way to start off our 2019 wedding season!! Their celebration took place at Weber’s Boutique Hotel in Ann Arbor and it has some amazing mid-century modern vibes! The MCM structural elements and design were the perfect contrast to this romantic day!
Jennifer and Justin were both so much fun to work with and these two are so in love! They shared an emotional first look on the patio where they also shared some Jameson Irish Whiskey. Their intimate ceremony was outside under an overcast sky and although it was quite chilly, Jennifer had her guests comfort in mind and had individual fleece blankets available for guests to keep warm!
There were a ton of interesting architectural details throughout their venue and I knew right away I wanted to push myself to create some really “wow” images that showed off all of the details as well as their love for each other! The portraits that show the grand winding staircases are a result of that, and I just love how the spiral stairs lead your eye up to their romantic moment! I also loved the high contrast of black and white throughout the scene which makes for some very modern vibes while still being timeless.
Jennifer and Justin’s candlelit reception in the Atrium Ballroom and their end of the night portraits under the neon “Weber’s” sign was the perfect end to their beautiful, classic wedding day!
