Abby & Felipe’s Classic Engagement
in Historic Downtown Monroe, MI
Abby and Felipe first met while working at Fermi Nuclear Power plant back in 2017 (or as Felipe put it, "she couldn't keep her eyes off of me!"), and when they suggested we hold their engagement session in Historic Monroe, MI, I was completely game!
I actually lived in the Monroe area for the past several years, and loved having an opportunity to photograph Abby & Felipe downtown and in the place where they basically met and fell in love. We lucked out with the weather (no rain, which was what the forecast called for), and the evening light was absolutely stunning. These two were the best as we walked around the city in the high humidity and they were such a joy to work with!
Abby told me after her engagement session that she couldn’t believe how relaxed I made Felipe feel because she had warned me before hand that he wasn’t very photogenic! But he ended up telling her that "I had a fun time, and it wasn't that bad" which was Abby said was HUGE from him and she thanked me for such an amazing photo experience!!!
I love keeping everything light, fun, and enjoyable for my couples!
