. . . Victoria and KM’s love story is truly an international adventure story! They first met back in 2014 while they were both living & working in the Virgin Islands; Victoria as a marine & environmental science masters student and KM as a carpenter. They met through mutual friends at a dodge ball game and after that they kept running into each other until they eventually became a couple! KM is from Denmark and when he went back to finish his degree in construction engineering, Victoria decided to move to Denmark, too! Over the next five years together, these two bounced back and forth between the US, Denmark, and the Seychelles in East Africa! Like I said, a truly international love story full of adventure!! . . .

End of Summer Engagement in Historic Monroe, MI | Jessica + Adam

. . . Jessica & Adam had the perfect evening for their engagement session in historic Monroe, MI! The temperature was a comfortable 72 degrees and the sun really showed off it's glowy, evening magic! ✨Jessica told me prior to their session that she and Adam weren't really that photogenic, but I think these photos prove that is the exact opposite from the truth! . . .

It has been such a crazy busy August and September for me because I have been photographing engagement sessions and weddings almost non-stop every weekend this fall! (Even though the weather for the most part has still felt like summer with temperatures in the mid-70's!!) I road tripped out to St. Joseph, MI for Jessica and Sheamus' destination engagement session on the beach and HOLY MOLY, friends, are you in for a treat!! These two were so awesome in front of the camera, and we had one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen as our backdrop! . . .

Natalie + Derek | Summer Vineyard + Hidden Lake Engagement, Tipton, MI

It's the best feeling ever when my couples become more like friends than clients! It's an EVEN better feeling when my existing friends become a CCP couple!!! Scott and I have known Derek since our days at Adrian College (Derek was actually Scott's roommate and fraternity brother!) and when he got engaged to his beautiful-bride-to-be, Natalie, we were just over the moon excited for them! . . .

I had the honor and the privilege to work with some pretty awesome couples in 2016, and I wanted to be sure to share some of my all-time favorites from their engagement sessions.
