Twin Lakes Golf Club Wedding in Oakland, MI
I could not wait to share this blog post from Alyssa & David's amazing wedding day!! The morning started out looking bleak with lots of rain overnight, but by the time we were ready for the outdoor ceremony and portraits it was a beautiful overcast day with not a drop of rain!
Alyssa got ready at home and had the prettiest bridal details with a few subtle nods to Disney because both her and David love all things Disney! After Alyssa, with the help of her mom, stepped into her wedding dress, she decided to have a first look with her bridesmaids and flower girl! Alyssa had only shown her wedding dress to a couple of people and waited a whole year to show it off to the rest of her bridesmaids! It was the most adorable moment as they all closed their eyes and then Alyssa walked around the corner to reveal her beautiful gown to them!
Alyssa and David were officially married last year in an intimate ceremony, so this year they were renewing their vows and commitment to each other in front of their larger group of friends and family at the Twin Lakes Golf Club. Their ceremony took place beneath the beautiful gazebo and was short & sweet! They incorporated a unity sand ceremony with sand from Florida and sand from their home in Lake Orion, Michigan. Following family portraits, we headed out for romantic portraits on the golf course before the renewed Mr. & Mrs. danced the night away out on their dance floor!
