Planterra Conservatory Wedding in Bloomfield Hills, MI
Yuliia & AJ, like so many couples who dreamed of a 2020 wedding day, ended up postponing their celebration to 2021, and I was so excited to photograph their classic, romantic day! The morning started off with a lot of energy and joy at the groom’s getting ready location as all of his family were there to send him off to his wedding in a traditional Serbian dance ceremony! Drums were pounding, all the ladies were singing, and everyone was dancing up a storm and it was definitely a fun way to kick off a wedding day! Next we headed over to see the bride, who was getting ready at home and I photographed all of her amazing bridal details along side her blush, peony bouquet!
Yuliia stepped into her wedding dress while listening to a Metallica and Queen playlist, and with the help of her best friend! Her lace wedding gown by Vera Wang was so stunning with it’s high neck and feminine detailing! Yuliia planned to see AJ prior to their wedding celebration, and I found the PERFECT spot on the grounds of the Home of Clara and Henry Ford for them to see each other for their first look!
After their first look, we took lots of romantic photos throughout the grounds of the Fairlane Estate! This beautiful property is full of flowering gardens and charming paths, which combined with that glowy, afternoon sunlight make it the perfect spot for wedding day photos!
Yuliia & AJ officially became Mr. & Mrs. Musheinesh back in 2019, but they both exchanged rings in a sweet, simple ceremony at the Planterra Conservatory surrounded by greenery, flowers dripping from the chandelier, and as their closest friends and family watched. The reception was held throughout the greenhouse and allowed guests to really soak up a beautiful day in a lush garden setting while eating, toasting to the couple, and dancing the night away! We snuck out of the reception for a few minutes at the end of the night to capture a couple last portraits as the sun set, and Yuliia & AJ also had an amazing sparkler exit!
